After watching Nicole Guerriero’s YouTube review of the Texture Perfector and Pore Vanishing Cream, I figured I might as well give it a shot! She raved about the product for its ability to smooth out your skin as well as blur your pores when using it during your everyday makeup routine. She also critiqued it for its claim to actually shrink your pores after one months use when she did not believe that to be the case.
I personally have no previous experience with pore vanishers (I didn’t even realize they were a thing until about a year and a half ago) so I had no idea what to expect for myself. I used it in the same way she demonstrates in the video, by wearing it underneath my foundation and other makeup.
The cream goes on super smooth and does not make your face feel greasy or layered like some other products tend to do. It also did not cause my face to break out, which is another major concern of mine. Any kind of product like this immediately sends up a red flag for me and my sensitive skin, so I was very pleased in that department. Off to a good start!
I love how even it makes my skin look, especially after having problems for so many years with acne. My pores become much less noticeable as well as some of my other spots that I have received from the usual wear and tear your face undergoes. There is now a very noticeable difference (at least to myself) when I do not use this product in the way that my face looks.
After trying the product for a little less than a month, I have to agree with what Nicole Guerriero says about the other claim this product makes. My pore size has not changed at all from when I first started using it; however, since I expected this from the beginning I was not disappointed. It works very well for evening out my skin and masking my pores, and that is all I ask of it.
I definitely plan repurchase this once I run out! For the cheaper price compared to other pore vanishers (only $20 at target!) and the good job it does, I would say that it was well worth it.
