Love it or hate it, Valentine’s day is a good excuse to have some good food, eat a ton of chocolate, and enjoy the company of your friends and loved ones. Even if you’re single, you and your friends can always go out for dinner together and then treat yourselves the following day to all the half priced candy. This option is just as good as a date if you ask me.
If you do have a date, there are too main options for dinner: buy it or make it. While both are enjoyable, I have always liked the experience of interacting with your date and making the meal together. Plus, it has the added bonus of being about half the price of going out to a steakhouse. Keeping it classic, this year we made a steak and asparagus dinner.
