I have always played with the idea of making my own fashion.  Other than the super daunting “I have no idea how to even start” phase, it is almost a bit of a rush to wear something you made.  I would live for the day someone asked me where I got this vest and I could say “Bitch I made it.”  (Only a maybe less dramatic and rude.)

It is so cool to me to see how you can still get the stuff you see in stores for a fraction of the price if you are willing to put in a little bit of work.  This is perfect for a person who is just starting to learn how to sew.  Simple, quick, good looking and cheap.  Just like my men 😉
